No - you're only as old as the man who feels you!

And before you start, I'm only quoting Mae West

Back to the subject of the thread...

I love the cranberry, raspberry and elderflower wine so much I want to make a bigger batch (I keep drinking it before the next lot is ready).

Any tips on making a 5 gallon batch or do I just multiply every ingredient by 5 (apart from yeast and nutrient)?

            Cheers

Pretty please can someone help? All the ingredients have cost a bit for this batch and I don't want to spoil it.

Yes multiply everything by 5.... except the yeast.
I also multiply the yeast nutrient by 5.
                Hope this helps

                  Thank you ever so much.

I am adapting it slightly as the local brew store had cans of red grape concentrate for a quid each which made it more reasonable than the grape juice at 90p a carton.

Hope to put it together tomorrow.

Well, it is under way. 4 packets of raspberry, cranberry and elderflower tea bags, one of raspberry, strawberry and loganberry (well, the box was the same colour), 5 x 254 ml cans of red grape concentrate, 8 litres of red grape juice, 3 kilos of sugar and water to 5 gallons. 5 tsp pectolase, 5 tsp nutrient, 2.5 tsp citric acid (can't find the other stuff so usually use citric) and 2 tsp of yeast (just to make sure).

I am ashamed to confess I am enjoying a bottle of Stella with a chip buttie

I have one bottle of tea bag wine left which is earmarked for a dinner party next week.
