      • 16 notes for 16 bottles of Badger Ale - I'd have been all over that like a rash. No costco down this way. Pah!

Lol. I'm on the scrounge for more crates or something else to hold beer bottles.

No, it was a not so cheap bottle from a large wholesalers I seem to spend too much money in. Bloody nice though.

Will keep an eye out for crates.

My local paper shop owner is a nice guy, and sells me the Irn Bru crates if I give him a bit of notice... cost - 50p per crate... bargain
Think they may be too big for beer bottles though...

I thought the same thing about the size, but then I thought about using bigger bottles (champaign). Course then there is the trouble of wasteage so naturally I'd need bigger glasses...

                    • A 2008 apple rosé. OK I suppose, but I don't think I'm a fan of apple wines.

                      followed by ...

                      A late-additon tinned strawberry. Fruity!

                      followed by ...

A commercial Chianti, with cheese and biscuits. Nice.

                      • Quickie Elderflower, and another quickie brew from Blueberries and Cranberries. The best of the WN1 type wines I have made, since I tweaked the recipe every so slightly. I call it quickie, cos it is no longer a WN1.

A fine wine is a fine wine, 1st time may be by accident, 2nd time is by design - that's why you keep notes.

Does anyone know how to ferment salt water?

Funnily enough though, turns out the chap who gave me my induction on the rig is a Cider brewer!

Really good - like a smooth, orangey Sav Blanc.

                              • Last night, the tail end of a lychee wn1 (v nice), followed by a 2009 elderberry which was accidentally amazing (by my standards).
