Yeah, I've still got about 100ml's after the 100ml's I had this evening with a good schlug of ginger ale

I'll have to see what else might be worth a try

        regards

p.s. Not bad for a cheapie though was it Rich!

        • Last night was an 06 Elderberry....coming around nicely now, but still needs a little more time I feel, to reach its full potential.

          • Tonight it was cheap and not very nasty (can't remember the name on the label) cider from Gaymers.

Medium dry and absolute fortunes at 85 pence a litre

            regards

            • Half a bottle of my Wine No.2. Not my favourite, but it took my mind off the awful footie.

The Sour Cherry version should be bottled soon - very promising

                • It was a litre carton from Lidl's - Sour Cherry Nectar. Never heard of it before, so I bought it and then found a recipe to use it in

Might make a passable lightweight red table wine. Watch this space ....

                      • Tinned Strawberry tonight. A little on the sweet side for me (1.002 ish), but the best of me early efforts. The neighbour has just gone wobbling back across the road, clutching a bottle and threatening to return in a couple of days, armed with more tins of strawberries

                        • Fortified Orange Muscat, slightly chilled. This will be an excellent winter wine, I think.

                          Zesty!
