Yeah me too have lost one and a half stone since Dec 08 friends have lost a similar amount and we've been drinking wine all the time or spirits but no beer cider etc so I guess we could have lost more without the Plonk !

Lost 5 inches off my waist and no bloody exercise either

If anyone's interested in the diet I can post more details/links but this bloomin laptop is a nightmare !The diet is basically low carbohydrate you don't have to count calories etc but it does work best of all its FREE so I'm not trying to sell anything here just trying to help people who want to loose some pounds.

            • I was enjoying my bottle of Westons scrumpy cider...... when halfway through, I noticed a clinking sound, on further inspection, I noticed a 1/4 inch chunk of glass in the bottom

Should I contact them and ask them to send me a new bottle?

              • A new case I should hope. Swallowing glass can be lethal.

                  • After a hectic day bottling 10 gallons, a second Pacific Quartet, and the Ciliegiolo, I'm now enjoying a small glass of Riesling Icewine. Yummy.

                    • Started with a Wine No.1 made with K1V-1116 yeast. Very fruity.

Finished with a bottle of Rich's Kendridge Petit Verdot. Possibly a bit young - it has a bit of that 'jammy' taste - but very nice. Lots of berry flavour, spicy, tannin, just enough oak. Beautifully presented too

                          • Put my Sonoma Cab (from fresh grapes) in the barrel today and am enjoying a (very gassy) sample of the leftovers. Young and rough right now, but I think it will be a winner in a 3-4 years.

                              • A half-bottle of Ancient Orange Mead. This is now nine months old, which is a record in our house, I think.

                                Very nice.
