        • Tonight is a lychee wine given to me by RichD

          A Gewurztraminer style wine

          what a cracking effort dude!

smooth and fruity with that hint of spicyness, and a lingering fruity finish.

you really need to start entering comps matey

          regards

                          • We went to a local winery today and had all wines made from regionally grown grapes. First up was a Rosé made from Foch, then a port made from Foch. A Frontenac (red) varietal, Chardonnay, Traminette (gewurz relative), and a Millot. After that, it all starts to get hazy.

Everything we tasted today was very good.

                            • Tonight we enjoyed RJ Spagnols Cru Select Australian Shiraz Viognier. Kit started 29 Dec 2006, wine bottled 15 April 2007. The wine was actually bottled a little early for my habits but it was Full House at my Brew on Premises.

                              • The last two nights I have actually been enjoying a French commercial red. This is surprising because I am not a very big fan of commercial reds. Anyway it is a Thierry and Guy "Le Freak" Shiraz Viognier 2004.

I liked the Cru Select one a wee bit better. I'll have to find another bottle and try them side by side.
