    Making some cherry wine jarred morello,it says to add acid blend but i do not have any, but what i do have is citric and malic could i use one of these or could i blend them 50/50 instead of the acid blend.

    Should be fine, a blend would probably be best.

      Should be ok, but personally I would make the malic acid a smaller part of the blend, as it is the dominant acid in the cherries, I'd want to add less of it, as it is a slightly harsher acid than Citric (but not harmful in any way.....)

      I'd go for 70/30 Citric/Malic

      but in an ideal world i would go 70/30 Tartaric/Citric

        Is this the jars of cherries from Lidl? I've got some, and I'm looking for a good recipe. Any help gratefully received.
