  • Where to get apples in West Sussex?

As you may be aware, I've just made myself a home-made fruit press, and although it's a little late, I fancied trying to press some apples. Sadly

    1. I know of nowhere locally to Worthing where wild apples grow
    2. Have not been able to get any via freecycle or friends
    3. Am thinking about buying in bulk from Roundstone PYO, at £10 for 13kg, which will give me about 6 litres of juice.

Any advice, thoughts or help out there?

A small scale cider producer in the South West told me last weekend that the going rate for cider apples was around £80 a ton.
