  • Cheap Rhubarb

    Hi All

Was looking in farm foods the other day and noticed they had some bags of frozen rhubarb at £1 for 750g so I'm right in saying that two bags and a litre of grape juice and we're set.

Thought I let you all know.

You might want to consider thawing the rhubarb in a funnel and draining the juice and adding that to your white grape juice (then use the pulp for a pie or a rhubarb tart)

see colin tweeds juice extraction tutorial on the winesathome youtube channel for guidance.

Pure juice makes for cleaner tasting white wine

      hope that helps

That's the plan when I get round to this, it was watching that video that made me think of the rhubarb when I saw it.

I'll be giving It a go after the D47 from my wine test finishes and I've had a chance to compare the different tastes.
