I'm off to Rydale vineyard on Friday http://www.ryedalevineyards.co.uk/
to volunteer my time to help with pruning, as they are a little behind. I did a full day there a little while back pruning alongside Stuart and Elizabeth the vineyard owners. (I am sure they would welcome more volunteers if any were to materialise!)
They are also proprietors of the vine house http://www.thevinehouse.co.uk which is where I buy my grapevines, they are of the highest quality.
I learned a great deal in that one day. Stuart and Elizabeth are also great company, and so passionate about their vineyard which is the most Northerly Commercial Vineyard in Europe.
If time permits, I will take some pics that may (or may not) help everyone when it comes to vine pruning.
regards

I start in January and try to finish by the end of March, You'll can get plenty of practice in . . .
It'll be fun . . . Honest . . . just bring your thermals, plasters, radio and a big flask of coffee . . .
