  • Tasting wine

I've worked out I don't have a clue about what to look for when I taste the wine I'm making

Lockwood explained that the slighty weird bit tart/fizzy taste was trapped CO2 and how I could get rid of it but thats the only thing I know

what other things should I know about? what happens if I leave sterilising solution on stuff? what effect does iot have on the wine (that I would notice) what other things should I look out for etc etc?

    thanks

    sanitizer

Make sure the sanitizer you use is a no-rinse type such as B-Brite or normal potassium metabisulphite. You can drain well and use the sanitized equipment without worries. Using the K-Meta in this fashion might actually keep the sulphite level in the wine.
