    Close, carrot wine... yet again, but with better ingredients... The last one I made was like 4 or 5 years ago. Not sure if I had tried it or not. Must be somewhere in my old cellar.

        Well I'm not sure about the allusion to worm pooh Bob, but you can always try making something from "bee puke", that usually turns out quite tasty.......

        p.s. and no, after reading through the list of wines that Martina posted, I can't help but think that some of those flavours/ingredients are rather, erm, unlikely, nay bordering on the bizarre. So well done........

          How have you got your must to be so orange? I used 10 kilo of carrots, the juice tasted strongly of carrots and yet the must was still a weak straw colour?

            citric acid? helps to stop colours from fading?

            btw love your quirky list of wines you have made ...., is yorkshire wine simply wine made with yorkshire tea tea-bags?

                          if I am the queen (or king for that matter) of quirky wines is left up for discussion....
