I've had some Lalvin champagne yeast in the fridge for about 4-5 months, and today I was making some 'Turbo cider' and the yeast dropped to the bottom pretty quickly, like sediment, I tried swirling, shaking, I also tried making a starter in a little bottle with another packet, same thing happened, I also tried 2-3 more packets with the same results.
