A couple large cats without bells should solve this problem for next season.

I need to look at my netting technique.....

further investigation revealed netting a tad close to the clusters.....

The best thing with squirrels is they taste soo good, washed down with a nice balckberry and elder. Use the older ones in a pie and the younger ones deep fried in a nice southern fried batter mix.

The offer still stands Bob to come and help 'catch' them

I grew up in a family of hunters and we ate many squirrels, usually in a stew of some sort. They're unlike rats, in that they don't live on a diet of pure garbage. Not much meat on them, but they taste fine.

I have heard that squirrel stew is good stuff particularly if they eat lots of nuts.

It's a conspiracy! These lower forms co-operating just for the befuddlement of Sir Robert of Lockwood.

It may be that next year, Sir Robert will end up claiming his grapes at Tescos' already processed into jelly. At least this way, he won't be able to blame it on the lower castes.

BTW. Squirrel is spelled with 2 r's and one l. Could also say a double a(r)se and a (bloody) h(e)ll.

I agree with pat it is the gang mentality of the animals that use trees to look down on us. I am just waiting for them to start wearing colours.
